Bellaire Debate is a nationally recognized program that allows students to develop research, public speaking, and critical thinking skills through competition. The program supports all experience levels, from first-time novices to state and national competitors. The workload depends on the level of competitive success a particular student is aiming for. Debate is what students make of it: those striving for state and national titles will naturally invest more time into research and practice.
